Patch Meetings
We meet from 3:30PM - 5:30PM, on the 3rd Thursday of the month from Sept. through May at the Nadaburg Elementary School in Wittmann AZ. We meet in the Art classroom unless otherwise noted on our Home Page. Please enter through the school office building.
Who Are We?
We are men and women who live or work in the NW Valley of The Sun (Phoenix AZ). Some of us are experienced artists and other are just beginning to work with gourds. We meet to share our trials & triumphs with gourds. Together we learn new tips and techniques for creating gourd art. At most meetings we have demonstrations on techniques such as carving, weaving, couching, wood burning, inlaying beads or other materials, etc..
No matter what's on the schedule, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We always have FUN at our meeting! If you think you might enjoy working with gourds, please come to one of our meetings. You do not have to be a member to check us out.
MEMBERSHIP
Our membership year runs from January to January. Dues are $15 per person/family. If you also want to join the Arizona Gourd Society(AZGS), the additional fee will be $5. You may use our Membership Form and we will forward your information and dues to AZGS. Checks should be made out to NW Valley Gourd Patch.
